The seventh episode of the project Cultural Diversity — The Wealth of Society is dedicated to the Armenians of Abkhazia. The Armenian people, with their centuries-old tradition of living in diaspora, have preserved their national identity and renowned diligence — qualities that are particularly evident in the Abkhaz context.

The film highlights both the everyday practices of the community and the prominent figures who have played an important role in the cultural and social life of the republic. Among them are Dr. Ivan Magakyan, who became a local celebrity long before receiving official honors, Miss Abkhazia 2016 winner Noemi Kyulyan, as well as entrepreneurs and cultural figures whose work shapes the image of contemporary Abkhazia. Special attention is given to 86-year-old barber Zaven Kasabyan from New Athos and the school in the village of Labra — vivid symbols of resilience, dedication, and deep attachment to the place where Abkhazia’s Armenians live.
