SKLAD_ is announcing an open call for participants for a three-day laboratory where you will create your own website, organize and structure your artistic work, and exploreeffective ways to present and promote your practice in the digital space.

The laboratory will be held using kleio, a platform designed for the professionaldocumentation of artistic practice. It enables artists to present projects, build a personal archive, and showcase their work online. Selected participants will receive free access to the international platform.

The number of participants is limited. Participation is free of charge.

SKLAD_ announces an open call for a research laboratory on justice and punishment.

We are looking for stories about people, places, and events where justice "took place", and what consequences it carried for the body, the soul, society, and the state. Justice here can take many forms: from public condemnation to imprisonment, or to rehabilitation and the restoration of human rights.

The laboratory is carried out with the support of the Asarkia Charity Foundation.

We are opening applications for the laboratory When I Forget Everything — I Begin to Remember. Our discussions will focus on artistic and research methods for working with personal, family, and found archival materials. We invite artists of any discipline, as well as curators, activists, journalists, anthropologists, and anyone with an interest in working with the theme of memory.

The laboratory program includes curatorial support, lectures, reading groups, practical work with deadlines, guest speakers, and a final pitching of ideas. Meetings will take place in a hybrid format (online and offline) once a week, on weekends, from March 25 to July 15, 2025.

Applications are accepted only from participants based in Abkhazia. Participation is free of charge.

We invite artists from any discipline to take part in a training program in which, together with tutor Lilit Matevosyan, we will develop skills in self-presentation. Over the course of the lab, participants will systematize their practice and experience into a CV, put together a portfolio, and also read open calls and fill out grant applications. Sessions will run throughout November on Saturdays: the first three meetings online, with the final meeting held offline at the SKLAD_ space.

The number of participants is limited. The program is intended for artists from Abkhazia.

Sharing Stories is a project focused on exploring storytelling, drawing, and publication as artistic tools for creating exchange between generations and countries (Switzerland and Abkhazia). We are looking for both emerging and established artists with a pedagogical interest or a focus on workshops / social art / public art. Each workshop is planned to involve artists from both regions (4+4).

A series of artistic interventions is planned in rural eastern Switzerland and rural Abkhazia. Storytelling sessions will be organized and documented by eight artists through words (transcription of spoken language), drawings, or other graphic forms. Together with children, who will act as co-researchers and co-artists alongside the artists, they will create verbal and visual documents from both regions.
