The aim of this project is to explore the theme of personal and collective stories hidden deep within us that shape our identity. The BASEMENT here is a symbol of the inner world of a person, where endless contrasts, opposites, imperfections, and incompleteness collide and coexist. The exhibition invites visitors to “descend the spiral staircase” into the depths of our nonlinear nature. To stop, breathe, and observe carefully.
The exhibition space combines several dimensions: body, perception, ideas, stories, personal experience. This visual statement, inspired by performative gestures, meets a sound statement within the exhibition. The central element of the space is a dome installation with a video projection of works by Bella Adzhieva (BZIRALA) and Shiraz Shinkuba. Outside the dome, the dynamics of the space are embodied by the SHIRI sound installation. The relief of the space is enriched and complemented by interactive “artifacts”.
