Young Art Festival was a four-day educational project for teenagers and young adults. The festival offered a rich programme of meetings with professionals from creative fields. It was divided into two main blocks: ‘Journalism and Mass Media’ and ‘Visual Arts and Design.’In the first block, writer, publicist and activist Nadezhda Venediktova shared her experience in independent journalism. Rozita German, Director and Editor of the Asarkia TV studio, talked about digital content promotion and the internal structure of a media studio. Dmitry Bely, General Director of Radio SOMA, dedicated his session to the influence of contemporary culture on media, while Ruslan Khashig, head of Abaza TV channel, explained the specifics of working in television media within the current information landscape.The ‘Visual Arts and Design’ block covered a broad range of artistic media. Arkhip Labakhua presented his work in puppet theatre, while Igor Panchenko focused on the psychological dimensions of creative practice. Artist Argur Dzari demonstrated the technical intricacies of various printmaking techniques in art and Tatyana Yergunova, curator at SKLAD_, introduced the profession of interior design, detailing project stages and the use of managerial skills. The block concluded with an artist talk by Nicole Bartsyts, a young graphic artist.The project was designed not only as an educational programme but also as a networking platform - a space where young people can meet like-minded peers and explore their creative potential.
