This workshop by photographers Alex Avidzba and Arseny Chakmach is built around observation from a single vantage point: participants try to take a series of shots without moving from their spot, exploring the movement, light, and rhythm of the surrounding area. The program includes an introductory talk on approaches to photography, a group discussion about the feeling in the frame, and the relevance of “imperfect” shots. The workshop concludes with a group review of each participant's work as a space for conversation about the images, meanings, and feelings that arise in the frame.
