Stories We Tell is a subtle exploration of memory, assembled from fragmented pieces: oral accounts, archival footage, and incidental details of family history. The film illustrates that a personal archive is not just a collection of facts, but a space of multiple voices, where each version of the past holds its own truth. Memory becomes a material — fragile, subjective, and in need of reconstruction. After the screening, we will discuss how we preserve family stories, and what is lost or revealed when we attempt to retell them.
