‘Future Plans’ was an exhibition about the everyday life of Abkhazian artist Sabina Kvarchelia - about things that might seem completely ordinary but which caught the eye of this young artist. The way she portrayed home and daily life went far beyond academic still lifes and portrait sketches: her works speak a personal yet universally understandable visual language.
Kvarchelia invited the viewer to reflect on the dreams, hopes - or, in other words, the future plans - of her subjects: from a friend posing casually to a nephew absorbed in his phone. The project was performed with the support of Asarkia Foundation.
