In search of answers to the questions “What makes a country a country?” and “What does home mean?”, Labakhua toured his play across Abkhazia, documenting the reactions of diverse communities: residents of Sukhum on Amra Pier, Greeks in New Athos, the Syrian diaspora in the village of Dranda and Mingrelians in the town of Gali.

Created in collaboration with director Ineke Smits, the result is a poetic road movie where imagination intertwines with nostalgia.
