Amid the stone walls of the ancient fortress on Mount Bagrata, dancers and choreographers Mrana Vouba and Danyu invite participants into a workshop that unfolds as both practice and ritual. The opening segment offers a journey through verbal and non-verbal modes of encounter — gestures of recognition, listening, and presence. From there, the focus turns to space itself: the body in dialogue with nature, and body meeting body. Within this field of contact, participants search for comfort within discomfort, cultivating trust, attention, and the act of quiet observation. In its closing movement, the workshop culminates in a collective performance — a shared choreography woven from the traces, discoveries, and resonances of the day.
This workshop is made possible with the support of the Asarkya Foundation.
