Director, screenwriter and visual artist. He holds a master’s degree in Biology from the University of Geneva and later studied photography and directing at EICTV (Havana, Cuba). His films include La salle des maîtres (2009), The Messenger: A Story of mRNA (2023), and YABAN (2022), which was part of the National Competition of the Istanbul International Film Festival. In his artistic practice, Tareq Daoud explores themes of identity and forced migration. He lives and works in Istanbul.
