Her work explores themes of intergenerational trauma, emotional legacy and resilience. Kamilla Kuts has received scholarships and grants from Arts Council England, New Mexico Humanities Council, the British Council and many others. Her latest film, Her Patch of Blue Sky (2023), was showcased at the Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival and received an award from the British Film Institute. She is Founder and Director of Dark Spring Studio, a company dedicated to the creation and promotion of art films. Author of books and articles on experimental media, including Visions of Avant-Garde Film. She lives and works in London.
